BORN TO DARKNESS
We are very proud of our demo, but also agree that the material it comprises kinda represents the "embryo stage" of the band. The songs included on our demo where written in our first year of existence ('97 to '98). Hell, we still weren't exactly sure what we were doing. But, since then, we've haven't stopped writing and have put together quite a body of work. I'm not saying the "B.T.D." LP is already written, but we feel we have enough of a groundwork to begin making a extremely concrete LP.
You know, like a "Ride the Lightning" or a "Morbid Tales". An album that doesn't have a weak point. Where every song may not be a "hit" but they all are very good even if in a unique or different way from other songs on the album. Kinda like "Escape" on "R.T.L". It's has a very different feel from some of the more "popular" songs, but is every bit as crushing. I think you get the point.
Right now some of the working titles for "Born to Darkess" are "6'000 Years", "Sorrow", "WarHammer"
, etc. We are very exited about this material and the future of this band in general. We believe we are making some groundbreakingly heavy shit and can't wait to share it with you!
